Our Activities Department offers many engaging activities to keep the mind and body active. This therapeutic recreation is also good for the soul and helps reverse the symptoms of depression often seen in seniors.
Some of the activities we offer include daily exercise to get the blood pumping, baking projects, devotions, reading the local Record-Review newspaper, crafts, games, cards, and, of course, the crowd favorite, Bingo.
With our facility bus we are able to make several outings during the year. Shopping trips to the Dollar General, visits to Blue Eagle Lake, and drives around town to see the changing colors of the seasons and Christmas lights are just some of our local outings. Our residents also have the opportunity to go to Detroit Lakes in the summer to take in some fishing or just enjoy a pontoon ride around the lake.

Our doors are open to visitors. Masks are no longer required for visitors but are available at each entrance. We encourage all visitors to utilize the hand sanitizer located in the front entrance.
While we enjoy your visits, if you are currently feeling ill, have recently been ill, or have been around someone that has been ill, we ask that you delay your visit. This includes all upper respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses. Our community of elders living here are often immune suppressed and the littlest contact can often cause an unfortunate event.
Visitors are invited to join their loved ones during scheduled activities. The resident activity calendar for this month can be found above. Weekly calendars are also posted in each room and on the nurse’s desk in the dining area.
