Our doors are now fully open and visits no longer need to be scheduled! Everyone still needs to wear a facemask when entering the building and walking in the hallways. Since the current community transmission level is substantial/high, masks are encouraged to be worn by visitors and residents in resident rooms as well.

We set up a station in the main entryway where visitors can screen themselves prior to each visit. Instructions are posted at the screening station to assist visitors.

There is no longer a limit to the frequency, the length of the visit or the number of visitors that a resident can have at one time, as long as visits are conducted in a manner that does not increase risk to other residents. Because of the risk to others, visits should continue to take place in resident rooms (not in common areas.) Facilities are still instructed to avoid large gatherings where visitors are in the same space at the same time and physical distancing cannot be maintained.

We are very excited to welcome this huge change and our residents and staff look forward to your visits!

Our Activities Department offers many engaging activities to keep the mind and body active. This therapeutic recreation is also good for the soul and helps reverse the symptoms of depression often seen in seniors.

Some of the activities we offer include daily exercise to get the blood pumping, baking projects, devotions, reading the local Record-Review newspaper, crafts, games, cards, and, of course, the crowd favorite, Bingo.

With our facility bus we are able to make several outings during the year. Shopping trips to the Dollar General, visits to Blue Eagle Lake, and drives around town to see the changing colors of the seasons and Christmas lights are just some of our local outings. Our residents also have the opportunity to go to Detroit Lakes in the summer to take in some fishing or just enjoy a pontoon ride around the lake.
