Current open positions:
Charge Nurse – PM Shift: 8-hour shift (2:15 – 10:45) – (0.8 position)
Charge Nurse – NOC Shift: 12-hour shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) – (0.8 position)
Charge Nurse – PRN: 8 or 12 hour shifts
Responsibilities for Charge Nurse positions:
Works under the direction of the DON to monitor resident’s needs and changes in condition, conducting focused assessments when appropriate and reporting results.
Follow resident care plans developed by the Interdisciplinary Team.
Orders, sets up, and administers medications and treatments per Valley Care and Rehab policies and procedures.
Supervise CNA and TMA staff as they complete tasks, monitor quality of care, provide education as needed.
Comply with facility policies and procedures and making recommendations for revisions
Supervise admission, discharges, and transfers
Communicate and follow up on physician orders, document clinical notes
