Being Mortal: Documentary Screening and Discussion

Hospice of the Red River Valley and other sponsors are presenting a free screening and discussion of the Emmy-nominated PBS Frontline film, “Being Mortal.” Based on the best-selling book by Atul Gawande, MD, this documentary explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the physicians who treat them.

The free film screening and discussion events are being held at various locations between April 27 and May 11, 2017. If you are interested in attending the film screening and taking part in a guided conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences, please visit Hospice of the RRV's website or call (800) 237-4629, ext. 1525 to register. The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
